introduction:
It is lovely to meet you. I am Delly, and I am an asian american artist based in the U.S.
I am FIlipino in my 20s and have been creating art ever since I could pick up a crayon! I have alot to offer in skill and experience and over the years I have truly developed my style as cartoon and bold. I believe this stemed from watching cartoons on television, specifically one of my favorite childhood shows Avatar The Last Airbender when it was first airing. Every day I am always finding creative ways to express my form of art by providing services to bringing my clients visions to life.
history:
In 2013, I used to have this instagram account where I made custom free cartoons. At first i did just cartoons of youtubers and instagram infulencers that inspired me. It was something fun I did for the summer before highschool. They got attention online and peopel started to ask for some of their own! I started doing more and did giveaways frequently as well.
Around 2016-2017 I really wanted to create a custom youtube intro for my youtube channel I started. So i watched a few tutorials on youtube and did research on how I can create animations. At first I could only do general movements, but quickly I thought, hey! I would love to offer my services to people who also are interested in vamping up their youtube channel. So again, I offered giveaways for my services.
After a long history of creating custom art for people all over, friends started to suggest that I could potentially make this into a career, so I started my commission prices. I had no idea what value I brang to the art world at the time, and started some of my first commissions at just $10 USD. When I recieived my first paid comission I was so happy and thankful that someone valued and saw my art and enjoyed it enough to pay for my services! Quickly I got more and more orders and family suggested I neede to up my price, as my skill improved, and my techniques became more advanced.
In 2019 I started a second hand instagram shop where I sold my clothes that no longer fit for a cheaper more affordable price! I created a business logo for the page and soon offered business logos services to my commissions to help small businesses kickstart their own business with a custom logo to stand out!
In 2020 the pandemic hit hard. Around that time also I had my own car and was familiar with the car community. I loved how the car community expressed themselves through their car, and that in and of itself was a form of art. I loved how things like this brought a community together and I even made a few friends myself with my lexus. One day, I decided to attempt to create a cartoon of my infamous pink lexus we had wrapped ourselves at home. It got attention on tiktok, and again I started a giveaway chain. I loved seeing how happy people were when I created this cartoon of the car that they loved! So I added this service to my services that I offer!
In 2022 I entered the twitch streaming world. A few of my friends were already streamers, and knew I did art commissions. I wanted to support them in a way I could, so I offered to give them some emotes to make their channel more unique! Quickly they enjoyed it so much a few of them came back again to order more emotes/banners/panels. I started to create some for myself on my TTV!
I am thankful for all my supporter and friends I've gained along the way, online and through the many communities I ventured in. Without them I truly don't think I would be as inspired and motivated as I am today to continue my services in creating art. Art was a way I could freely express myself and the safest place for me and a constant in my life. I am truly so thankful I am blessed with the gift my hands have to offer in creating. These hands have helped me keep my creative soul alive and bringing joy and others visions to life. I want to continue this for as long as I can in this life <3
